Because I’ve had success at building my Beachbody business I’m approached by people involved with other network marketing companies on a daily basis that try to recruit me into whatever business they are in.
They’ll say things like;
- “We just launched 3 hours ago!”
- “It’s a GROUND FLOOR opportunity.”
- “Rick Grimes is the CEO.”
- “Kanye and Kim Kardashian were the first ones to sign up and are my upline.”
And when they see I’m not falling for the hype message, they’ll start to say negative things about my business (Beachbody);
- “Beachbody’s compensation plan sucks.”
- “The market is saturated.”
- “Shakeology is too expensive.”
- And so on and so on…
I’m always just like, “get out of my face with that bullshit”…lol.

Beachbody is an amazing company, with amazing products, and an amazing business opportunity. I’m not looking to join another company. (Hint – trying to build 2 networking marketing businesses at the same time is a HUGE mistake.)
If you have a product that I need and might find useful, I’m not against giving it a try. If I like what you are selling, maybe I’ll become a customer, but I’m not looking to start a new business, especially when I’ve never even used the product of service you are trying to sell me.
If you opened up a pizza restaurant, invite me in to try a slice, don’t tell me I should open up a pizza restaurant too…that’s just weird.
There are several great lessons to be learned here:
- Don’t fall for the hypey “ground floor” type of marketing.
- There is no such thing as a “bad compensation plan” if you have enough volume flowing through it.
- Don’t join a home based business if you don’t truly love the products. Would you buy and use the products even if you were NOT a distributor? If your answer is no, you’re in the wrong business.
Beachbody Is In A League Of Their Own
Here’s why Beachbody Coaching is a great fit for me and why they are in a league of their own inside of the home based business world.
1) First and foremost – I LOVE Beachbody workouts and Shakeology. I would buy them and be a customer even if I was not sign up as a Coach and involved in the business. Now I’ll be honest and say that I don’t love ALL of the workouts, which is OK, I don’t have to love them all. There are some workout programs that are just not for me.
My job as a Coach is simple because I genuinely feel great about recommending our products to people. I know with 100% certainty that if they follow a program the way its designed, they will get results and be happy.
2) Brand Awareness
Beachbody spends $150 million dollars a year producing and airing their hit TV infomercials. These infomercials create brand awareness (and also customers, I’ll go more into that later), which makes my job of recommending them to other people much easier. I don’t have to explain what P90x is, everyone has already heard of it.
Below are some social proof examples:
P90x Popularity On Facebook
Insanity Popularity On Facebook
Shakeology Popularity On Facebook
These are ONLY 3 examples of Beachbody’s products. I could of listed a dozen more. These “likes” are from people who voluntarily admitted to like these products’ pages. They are happy customers!
If you’re involved in a different company, how many “likes” are on your products’ pages? Chances are that your product/products/services does not even have it’s own page.
This is the reality of the numbers.
Beachbody’s products are “passion products”. It’s easy to fall in love with a product that gives the customers a life changing experience.

Beachbody has great products, which leads to happy customers. One major difference between Beachbody and other network marketing companies is that Beachbody has “real” customers. It’s not just the distributors that are ordering and using the products. In many network companies you’ll find that the majority of the volume being created is from distributors who are placing orders. If a company is made up of all distributors and lacks real customers, that should be a red flag.
3) Beachbody’s Customer Lead Program
As I mentioned above, Beachbody spends $150 millions dollars a year on infomercials and advertising. This creates brand awareness and customers. These customers are given out to Coaches who *qualify through what is called the Customer Lead Program. Beachbody literally builds my customer base for me!
*In order to qualify for the Customer Lead Program a Beachbody Coach must be an Emerald Coach (or higher) and qualify for Success Club.
Below is a screenshot of my Coach Online Office where I was given 9 customer leads in one month.
Beachbody’s customer lead program is a HUGE incentive. Coaches are required to qualify in order to participate, but qualifying is not very difficult to do. Basically, Beachbody is rewarding the Coaches who are taking action and moving their business forward. Don’t expect to get signed up and get customers handed to you if you are not willing to put in the work.

So if you’re trying to recruit me into your business, I hope you get the message. No, I don’t want to join you.
