If your year wasn’t the greatest, and you want things to be different this year… Then YOU MUST do something DIFFERENT.

Doing something is way better than doing nothing. Even if you make mistakes, you’ll learn from them. Mistake are inevitable.

It’s easy to procrastinate, wait for things to be perfect, and want to know all of the answers before we ever talk to anyone about these amazing products and opportunity.

Stop procrastinating. Step out of your comfort zone and just do it. It will be weird and awkward at first. You will face a lot of rejection and hear a lot of NO’s…That happens to us all. The more you do it, the better you get, and the easier it gets.

Here are my 14 tips for success in building your Beachbody Coach business in 2017

1.) Take 100% responsibility for your business. Don’t blame or make excuses. Own up to the fact that your results are based on your efforts. (We’re here to help and provide as much training as possible, but ultimately it’s up to you to step up and put in the work.)

Imagine the results you’d have if you truly put in 100% effort.

My personal breakthrough came when I stopped making excuses and took 100% responsibility for my business and results (or I should say lack of results).

We are business owners. We are entrepreneurs. This is important to understand.

2.) Embrace the concept of personal development. Schedule it into your daily routine, even if it’s only 10 -15 minutes a day. Without personal development, you don’t stand a chance in this business, trust me on this. With all of the rejection we face, and the discouragement we feel, you NEED personal development to maintain a positive attitude and to keep moving forward. It’s also important to always be a student, constantly learning and growing.

3.) Listen to the National Wake Up Call (live or the recording) EVERY week. This is a “bare minimum” weekly activity. You have to be listening to this call EVERY week.

4.) Read 10 pages of a personal development book EVERY day. (Not sure what to read? Check out my top 10 list here: http://coachquestions.com/books/)

5.) Listen to personal development audio while in the car. Most people spend 30 – 60 minutes in commute time to work every day. Take advantage of this down time and turn it into “UP” time by listening to something educational, motivational, or inspirational.

6.) Become a student of network marketing. Learn about the business model. How it works, and why it works. Again, you can do this by reading books, listening to audio, etc.

7.) Learn some marketing skills. This business is not about having six pack abs, being an expert on nutrition, or how many push ups you can do…it’s about marketing skills. Being able to do 50 pull ups is awesome, but it won’t help you grow your business. Start a blog. Create some Youtube video. Start building an email list.

8.) Call your upline sponsor. If you have a question, or just want to pick their brain and chat for a few minutes, give your sponsor a call. Don’t wait for them to call you. Whoever your sponsor is, they’d love to hear from you and want to help you succeed.

9.) Don’t wait for your sponsor. There is no rule that says you can’t be a higher rank and out earn your sponsor. It happens all of the time in this business. Your goal should be to surpass your sponsor (especially if they aren’t really working the business).

10.) Make qualifying for Success Club 5 (10 if you’re ambitious) your monthly goal. I won’t go into all of the reasons why…but this is a goal you should be shooting for every month. Make this your #1 priority every month.

11.) Set a goal to sponsor a minimum of 2 new Coaches a month.

13.) Register for the Success Club yearly trip. This way you have an additional incentive to earn Success Club points throughout the year.

14.) Never give up.

If you do the things I listed above, I’m certain you’ll have an awesome 2017. I’m not expert at this stuff, I don’t have all of the answers, I’m still learning and growing on a daily basis… but these are some of things that have helped me tremendously.

If you believe in this business and are willing to put in the effort… you can be successful. It’s not easy, and it takes time… but it’s worth it.
