What Will I Be Required To Do As A Beachbody Coach?
The short answer to the above question is, “NOTHING”.
As a Beachbody Coach, you are your own boss. You are the CEO of your own business, and what you do will be entirely up to you. As a brand new Beachbody Coach you will be given support and direction, but no one can force you to do anything.
Taking action will be up to YOU.
If you decide to join my team, I will point you in the right direction, and even give you specific action steps to take, but I can’t force you to do anything. I can’t do it for you. Me doing it for you would be like working out with a personal trainer, and asking the trainer to lift the weights for you…That wouldn’t make much sense.
Step 1: Set Your Goals And Expectations
Everyone has different intentions, expectations, and goals for their Beachbody Coach business. Some people may sign up just to get the Beachbody Coach discount and save money on their personal purchases, while others may be looking to generate a full time income.
Obviously if you are someone that just wants the discount, this information really isn’t for you. This post, and the information I normally put out, is for those who are looking to build a business and generate a serious income for themselves, specifically a 6 figure income.
Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with becoming a Coach just to get the discount, sometimes that makes sense and is a great way for a regular customer to save some. I just wanted to point out that Coaches have different objectives.
So with that being said, here are some ideas of things you can do to grow your Beachbody Coach business.

Create And Run Challenge Groups
Many Coaches are having great success creating Challenge Groups. A Challenge Group is a group of 5 people that are doing a Beachbody workout, drinking Shakeology, and communicating with one another via a private facebook group. The concept is to hold each other accountable, motivate, and support one another. With Challenge Groups, people are not physically working out with each other, but coming together through the facebook group to support one another.
As a Challenge Group member, you are much more likely to complete the program, if you know there are 4 others going through the same thing as you. It creates a form of camaraderie and you don’t want to let the others down.
Challenge Groups can really be run however the Beachbody Coach wants to run them. There are no set guidelines that the Coach has to follow. For example, a group could contain more or less than 5 people, who are all doing a different workouts. There are a number of different ways a Coach could run an effective Challenge Group.
If a Beachbody Coach created a Challenge Group with 5 people all doing Insanity, that could would earn $350 in commissions the first month, and a recurring $150 every month after that from Shakeology re-orders. (This is assuming all 5 Challenge Group members purchased a $205 Insanity Challenge Pack).
So How Does A Coach Create A Challenge Group?
We’ve made the process super simple. Below is a video that shows and explains a 5 step invitation process that you can follow word for word:
Review the 5 steps invitation process and decide if that is something that would work for you. In my opinion, it is super simple and something that anyone can do. If you send out enough invites, and follow the steps laid out for you, you should be able to get a Challenge Group of 5 people together.
Share Your Results With Others
Another simple way to grow your business is to simply share your results with others. I’ve found that exercise, health, and more specifically weight loss is often brought up in everyday conversations. Especially if you are someone that has recently lost a few pounds. When you see people that you haven’t seen in awhile, they are going to say, “You look great! What have you been doing?”
This is when you share with them what you’ve been doing, and let them know you’re a Beachbody Coach, and that you can help them get results.
As a Beachbody Coach, you have the choice to work your business passively by simply bringing it up naturally to people that you come in contact with through everyday life experiences, or you can market your business more aggressively by advertising and marketing your business. Obviously the more aggressive you are in marketing your business the faster it is going to grow.
A Few Other Ways To Grows To Grow Business:
- Home parties – Shake N Share Parties
- Fit Clubs
- Online/offline marketing
It’s really all about getting out there and spreading the word to others. The more people you talk to, the more success you will have.
3 Questions To Ask Yourself Before Starting Any Business Venture
Whether you are opening up a lemonade stand, a hardware store, or a McDonalds, there are 3 main questions to ask yourself:
- How much is it going to cost me? How much are the lemons & cups going to cost, etc.
- How many cups of lemonade (burgers, hammers, whatever) do I need to sell in order to break even?
- How long will it take me to break even?
These are the only 3 questions you need to ask yourself when deciding to start a business venture. Now lets answer these questions on deciding to become a Beachbody Coach.
- How much does it cost to be a Beachbody Coach? – It costs anywhere from $140 – $300 depending on what you order during the Coach sign up process. Technically, the cost is free to become a Coach to anyone that purchases a Challenge pack during the sign up process, which is the best way to get signed up.
- How many sales will I need to make in order break even? – Well if the cost to be a Coach is FREE, and if you are drinking Shakeology yourself on a regular monthly basis, the savings you are getting from being a Coach already put you ahead each month. But for sake of argument, lets just say that generating 5 Shakeology HD customers will make you $150 in commissions each month. This is enough to cover your start up costs, cover your own cost of Shakeology, and put you in profit.
- How long will it take to break even? – If you are able to start a Challenge Group of 5 people your first month in the business, you will be in profit.
As you can see from the questions and answers above, the decision to become a Beachbody Coach is actually a pretty easy one. The low start up cost makes it an easy decision because making your money back will be pretty easy and won’t take very long.
However, don’t let the low start up cost cause you to not take the business seriously. This can be a catch-22. I’ve found that sometimes because the cost to get started as a Beachbody Coach is so low, many people don’t take it seriously because they have so little invested. In order to succeed at growing your beachbody business, it is a good practice to act as if you have invested $100,000. This way, you’ll be forced to take action and forced to step out of your comfort zone.
