So What’s The Catch?
The Beachbody On Demand free trial is just that, a free “trial” for 14 days.
There is no catch in the sense that you can try it for free, and if don’t love it and don’t want to remain a member after 14 days, you can cancel and won’t be charged.
One thing I’ve heard a few complaints about is that it is required to put in a valid credit card in order to start your trial. Don’t overthink this, it’s not a big deal and how most free trials work. The reason they do is because they want to make sure you do have a way to pay if you decide to extend your membership past the trial period.
From a business perspective, it makes sense for Beachbody to ask for a credit card because it eliminates those that have absolutely no intention of ever becoming a paid member. If someone doesn’t want to enter in their credit card info when it won’t even be charged, there is no way they are going to enter in there info when it does come time to being charged… Does that make sense?
Basically, the free trial is for those that want to try out the platform, and see what it’s like before they continue on and finally pay for it. The Beachbody On Demand free trial allows you to do that.
*Important Note – In order to get the Beachbody On Demand free trial you MUST select the 3 Month Option.
When signing up, you will see a few different options. The free trial option doesn’t stick out as well as it should so you kind of have to look for it. It will be under the “3 Month Membership” option.
One thing you could to save a few buck is, if during the trial period you decide that you love the platform and want to be a member, you can cancel your trial, then go in and purchase the 12 month membership option at the discounted price shown above.
Benefits Of Beachbody On Demand
I love Beachbody On Demand for the convenience.
It saves me time (and gas money) from having to drive back and forth to a gym. If I have to drive 10 minutes to a gym, that’s a 20 minute roundtrip. And if I want to workout 5 days a week, that an extra hour and 40 minutes spent commuting each week, or over 6.5 hours a month. Sure it’s a small number, but that time adds up and takes away from other ways I could be spending my time.
It’s also very convenient tot be able to go straight to my basement and get my workout in for the day. I don’t have to think or worry about getting dressed and out the door to go to the gym. Because it’s convenient, I’m more likely to not skip days and stick to the program.
Beachbody On Demand saves me money when compared to spending it on a gym membership. At $99 for a year, that ends up being cheaper than most gym memberships.
And lastly, Beachbody’s programs get results. With 100% certainty, anyone that follows the program the way it is designed to be followed (that means meal plan too) will get amazing results.
If you’re on the fence, give it a try… You’ve got nothing to lose (except maybe a few pounds).
