What Is The Beachbody Challenge?
It’s simple, all you have to do is complete a Beachbody workout program and share your results by sending in your before and after pictures along with your story. It also possible to complete multiple rounds of a program before you submit your results.
For example, if you have 100 lbs to lose, you could start off with with 2 rounds of the 21 Day Fix, then do a round of T25, then a round of P90x3, and end with 60 days of Hammer and Chisel. Complete as many programs as you want before you submit your results and your story.
Be sure to take good “before” pictures and measurements so you’ll have those and be able to send them in when the time comes.
There are NO LOSERS!
Everyone that submits their results into the Beachbody Challenge will receive a free t-shirt.
There’s nothing to lose, except maybe few pounds.
It doesn’t HAVE to be about the money. Do it for YOURSELF. Do it for you family. Strive to be the best version of yourself that you can be. (And if you can win some money along the way, that’s an awesome bonus!)
How To Win The Beachbody Challenge
I’m sure I’m stating the obvious here, but if you are already in pretty good shape, your chances of winning will be lower than the person who has 20, 30, 50, or maybe even 100 pounds to lose. So first, let’s start by being realistic.
Speaking of realistic, one thing I recommend is completing multiple rounds of a program before you submit your results. For example, if you’re doing the 21 Day Fix, you have to be realistic on what can be achieved in only 3 weeks. If the weight comes off at a healthy pace, you’re more likely to keep it off. If you have a lot of weight to lose, shoot for dropping 2 lbs a week. Which means if you have 100 lbs to lose, it’s going to take almost a full year, which is fine. (Also keep in mind that it’s not always about the scale. On some of these programs you will lose fat and gain muscle. When this occurs the scale won’t move very much, but your body will look very different and you’ll feel different. Just something to be aware of and keep in mind.
Stay consistent. Follow the plan that is laid out for you. It works. Follow the workout schedule and follow the meal plan. If you follow the system you will see results. If you do the workout, but eat like crap, that will show in your results. I’ve found that what I eat makes more of a difference than the actual workouts. Nutrition is key.
Think long term. Make this a lifestyle change, not a temporary diet. The goal is replace some of your bad habits with good habits, and to keep this up forever. If you can replace a few bad habits with good habits (like replacing the morning breakfast at McDonald’s ritual with Shakeology instead) you’ll see results.
Get rid of the “instant gratification” mindset. You won’t see a results after 1 or 2 workouts, not even after 1 or 2 weeks. The process is slow, which is why most people become discouraged, give up, and quit.
But not you, not this time. Commit to the process. Stick to it, and you will see amazing results.
Will there be times you fall off? Of course, you’re human. No big deal, start fresh the next day.
What It Takes To Win The Beachbody Challenge
If you’re wondering what it takes to win the the Beachbody Challenge grand prize of $100,000, below is the before and after picture of the female 2015-2016 winner.
Carmen O’Quinn lost 161 pounds in 2 years. Prior to losing weight, she was morbidly obese, constantly tired, and could NOT keep up with her two small children. Carmen dreaded airplanes and amusement park rides, because she didn’t know whether or not she would fit into the seats. She read an alarming fact that children with an overweight parent were twice as likely to be overweight, and those with two overweight parents were 2.4 times as likely to be overweight. At the time, she and her husband were both overweight. “Enough was enough,” she said. She and her husband started a lifestyle change together, and she was surprised how quickly she saw results, losing her first 100 pounds in just 202 days. Overall she has gone from a size 22 to a junior size 4. Results achieved with: P90X, P90X3, Body Beast, and Shakeology.
“Winning this award means everything to me,” said Carmen. “This has been a long journey, and it has taken a lot of hard work to get here, but it has all been worth it in the end. It wouldn’t have been possible without my Beachbody Coach, who inspired me to get started in the first place and supported me every step of the way, and Tony Horton, who made a workout program (P90X) that I could do as a morbidly obese mom at home. He told me to ‘do your best, and forget the rest,’ and that’s exactly what I did.”
An Even Bigger Opportunity
In addition to the Beachbody Challenge there is another way to turn your transformation into an income generating opportunity. By signing up to become a Beachbody Coach, you have the opportunity to earn money by recommending Beachbody products to others.
So here’s an idea… maybe it’s for you, maybe it’s not (I think it’s a GREAT idea).
While you’re doing your workouts, sticking to the meal, and drinking Shakeology you also decide to document your journey on social media, on a blog, and on YouTube.
You don’t wait until you’ve reached your goal, but instead document the entire process from day 1 by stating your goal, and inviting people to follow you to watch you reach your goal.
Picture this, “I’m going to lose 100 lbs in the next year… watch me do it!”
Now I’m just using 100 lbs as an example. Maybe you have less to lose (or maybe you have more). This concept can apply for anyone, even if you have only 10 lbs to lose. The point I’m trying to make is, don’t be the type of person that says, “I don’t have 100 lbs to lose, I can’t do this”.
But back to the “idea”…
So you’re documenting your journey. How you’re feeling, what you are eating, your success, your struggles… EVERYTHING. You are building a “following” and people are rooting for you to succeed. Of course, you may pick up some “haters” along the way, that’s normal and just means you’re moving in the right direction.
Example, “last night I fell off and had 6 slices of pizza and drank 6 beers”… Sharing that shows you’re a REAL person.
Again, these are all just some ideas. Basically it’s possible to earn money by sharing your story and inspiring others. We can go more in depth on these ideas I can help you come up with a game plan if you decide that is the route you want to go.
