What Is A BODi Block?

Are you wondering what a BODi Block is? If so then you’re in the right place. In this post I’m going to explain exactly what a BODi Block is and why they are effective.

So What is a BODi Block?

If you tend to get bored, have plateaued with your results, or are just feeling burnt out, then BODi Blocks just might be for you. If you’ve been going through the motions for months or even years and are looking to change things up to make them more fun and exciting, then a BODi Block might be right up your alley.

BODi has come up with a new approach to in-home fitness that will appeal to the masses. The BODi Block option is simple and will produce results for anyone regardless of their current fitness level.

BODi Blocks are based on the science of periodization. The schedule for all blocks will be 5 (approximately 30 minutes) workouts a week, for 3 weeks. Then the 4th week will be a rest week or active recovery week. Every month you start a completely new “block”.

BODi Block Workout Options

There will be 4 different BODi Block options that will be completely new at the start of every month. Those 4 options will be:

  1. A Block for “Beginners Only”
  2. An All-Bodi Block
  3. Bike Block (for those who own the BODi bike)
  4. And an Iron Block, for those who like to put an emphasis on lifting and resistance training.

For Beginners Only Block

As the title of this block explains, it is for beginners just getting started and building their foundation. This block is designed to teach you the basic fundamentals of the movements and exercises. Super Trainer Lacee Green will guide you through low-impact cardio, strength, core, and mobility workouts, while keeping it fun. If you haven’t exercised in a while, or really ever, and feel like you’re completely out of shape, don’t worry, this program is a great place to get started.

Bike Block

The Bike BODi Block is the perfect combination of cycling and strength training. You’ll complete a variety of rides, from rolling hills and steep climbs to interval and endurance sessions, as well as targeted weightlifting that will make you stronger on and off the bike. This block a great combination of cardio and resistance training to help you stay healthy and toned.

All-BODi Block

The block has it all. Cardio, strength training, mobility, and core workout from all of your favorite BODi trainers. This block is sure to be a popular fan favorite.

Iron Block

If you like to focus more on strength training and lifting weight, then this is the block for you. The Iron BODi Block is traditional weight lifting is paired with cutting edge split training to help you optimize your muscle building while dialing up your calorie burn. It’s your one-stop shop for more lean mass and definition,

And as mentioned already above, all block are presented in the format that works: 3 weeks, 5 workouts a week for around 30 mins.

What’s great about BODi is the variety. Each month a completely new block begins, and you also have the option to change your block type every month if you’d like to. Maybe one month you choose the All-BODi Block, and the following month you want to switch things up and do the Bike BODi Block… It’s completely up to you!

Of course you don’t have to sit on the couch and not move for an entire week. Staying active in encouraged. Go for a walk, do some stretching or a yoga routine. The concept is that we don’t have to punish ourselves. With BODi Block, the goal is to stay consistent and build a lifelong habit of exercising regularly.
