At the time of this writing I’ve been a Beachbody Coach for a little over 6 years. In this post I’m going to share what my experience has been, how I struggled, and what progress I have made.
I was hesitant to share some of this personal information, income, etc. But if this motivates or inspires just one person to take action, then it will be worth it.
I’d be flattered if my story was an inspiration to even one person.
I Originally Quit
When I first signed up as a Beachbody Coach I wasn’t exactly sure what I was signing up for or how it worked. I didn’t go through any of the training. I didn’t have any business results (I didn’t make any money). So I decided this Beachbody Coaching “thing” was stupid, and I quit and cancelled my Coach account.
After quitting I still continued to follow some other Beachbody Coaches that I knew, I saw them having success, so I decided to sign back up and give it another try. I figured, if these people can do it, then I can do it too. I just need to figure out what to do.
The 2nd time around I was more determined. I spent time going through the training, I read books, I stepped out of my comfort zone. Unlike the first time, I was actually putting in an effort and trying.
For the first 6 months, I struggled badly.
But I knew if I kept going through the training, if I kept learning, and if I kept growing, then I was moving in the right direction. I decided I was not going to give up. No. Matter. What.
Eventually I started to make some progress and started to make some sales. On an older website of mine I posted some of my first checks and I’m glad that I did and was able to document my journey and progress as a Beachbody Coach. In the image, you can see that I made $304.66 in one month, and you can also see that one week I made a whopping $17.50.
While $304.66 doesn’t seem like very much, especially for the work I had been putting for the prior 6 months (and not earning anything), I was ecstatic that was earning enough to cover my car payment. This was AWESOME and this was what my originally goal was upon signing up.
“I figured if I could make an extra couple hundred dollars a week, that’s be AWESOME!”
This is a level that a lot of Beachbody Coaches get to, and then stop. They look at the work they are putting in, they look at the money they are earning for that work, and at first glance it doesn’t seem worth it.
So they give up and quit.
I Kept Going
I continued to work on myself. I continued to learn, to read books, and to work on improving the skills I needed to have success.
In January of 2010 my Beachbody income doubled and I earned $687.40. At this point I continued to work very hard, and I’ll be honest, for 2 years of work, I felt like I was being underpaid and that I should be further along by now. But I was still excited that I was earning money on my own terms.
Earning $100 on my own, felt much better than earning $1000 working for my employer.
My entrepreneur spirit was rising.
Through this period my “belief” level was slowly raising. I knew that if I kept working the business, and doing the things I need to do to move my business forward, then I might be able to turn this into a full time business.
“My goal changed from making an extra couple hundred dollars, to building a full time business.”
It wasn’t the actual dollar amounts that I was excited about, it was the continuous growth I was seeing, and no limit to how big my business could become.
In just a few months my Beachbody Coach income doubled again. $1250/mth
And then a year later it doubled again! $3000/mth
And again the next year! $6485/mth
So here I am, earning an extra $6,485 a month (or $77,820 a year) as a Beachbody Coach. Time to start thinking about quitting “day job” that I was unhappy with at start working my Beachbody business full time.
“So I quit my sheet metal construction and decided to become a full time entrepreneur.”
But here’s the thing. I always continued to keep on doing what I was doing from my first month into the business. In this business model, your business grows, but your workload stay almost the same.
It would of been very easy for me to give up my first year in the business because I was working hard, but not making very much money. This why many people fail, they simply give up too soon and don’t understand that in the first year you won’t make a lot of money (so it seems like you’re putting in the effort for nothing).

I Kept Moving Forward
Below are 2 videos of more income updates.
July 2013 – $11,986/mth
June 2014 – $3625/week
And lastly, below is a screenshot of one of my recent best weeks showing that between my 1st & 2nd business centers, and my wife’s business center (we work together as a team), we earned $4,454.88 in one week.
$4,454.88 in ONE Week!
Writing this post, and taking a look back to see where I started is mind blowing.
I’m so glad I’ve been posting my checks and talking about my Beachbody Coach income from day 1. I show a check for $17.50 for one week. And then 6 years later I show my earning of $4,454.88 for one week!
What an amazing opportunity.

What’s exciting is that I feel like I’ve barely scratched the surface on where I plan to take my business. I still have so much more that I want to accomplish and look forward to what the future holds.
I think I’m done with posting my income, these 8 updates give you the jist. My next update will be when I reach the $10,000/week mark.
I know this post is “all about the money”, but this business is so much more than that. Beachbody has amazing products that are truly life changing.
With nearly 70% of the U.S. population obese or overweight, there is no shortage of people to talk to about Beachbody’s products. They have real solution that works.
In addition to the money I’ve earned as a Beachbody Coach, the time freedom I’ve gained is even more valuable. I’m able to set my own schedule and work around life, instead of living around my work. I’ve never had to miss a special moment with my daughter and when my wife was pregnant I was able to attend every single doctor’s appointment with her without having to ask a boss for time off or have anxiety about my boss or other co-workers not thinking I’m a “team player.”
So that’s my Beachbody Coach business story so far. I have big plans in the works for myself and my business and I look forward to seeing where I’ll be in the next 5 years.
“This isn’t an easy business…but it’s definitely been worth it!”

It’s not just about the money. We are truly helping people improve their lives and I’m proud to stand behind products and a solution that gets results.
As with anything in life, results are based on effort. This is definitely NOT a get-rich-quick type of thing.
How much money I make has NOTHING to do with how much you will make. You can sign up, do better than I have done, and earn more than I do…Or you could sign up, not do anything, and make no money at all. That’s the best part, your results are based on YOUR effort.
