6 Best Resources For Building Your Beachbody Coach Business

If you want to be successful as a Beachbody Coach you will have to be RESOURCEFUL.

Dictionary.com‘s definition of resourceful is:

“able to deal skillfully and promptly with new situations, difficulties, etc.”

In other words, you’ll need to be able to find answers to the questions that you have.

There are many people who sit back, wait for someone to do the work for them, and say things like;

“I don’t know what to do”, or “I don’t know how to ____ (insert excuse here).”

Someone who is resourceful doesn’t make excuses or blame someone else.

Someone who is resourceful FIGURES IT OUT.

“The defining factor (for success) is never resources; it’s resourcefulness.” -Tony Robbins

But…”my sponsor won’t help me!”

This is a separate conversation and something I don’t want to go over too much in this post, but I thought I should mention it.

Don’t be one of those Beachbody Coaches that says, “my sponsor won’t help me.”

Eliminate that thinking and mindset immediately.

Understand that YOUR results will come from YOUR effort and take 100% responsibility for YOUR business.

Before you blame your sponsor, ask yourself these question:

Have you called you sponsor?

Have you reached out to your Diamond and Star Diamond upline? (Their contact information can be found inside of your Coach Online Office.)

Be aggressive. Don’t wait for someone to contact you, reach out to them.

Do you know what the 3 Vital Behaviors are?

Have you bought and read any books?

Do you listen to the National Wake Up Call EVERY week?

Be honest with yourself and take a close look at the effort you’ve put in.

Some tough love here, but things you need to hear if you want to build a successful Beachbody Coach business.

Don’t take this message the wrong the way. There is plenty of help and guidance available. In most cases your sponsor will be happy to help you and answer your questions. They probably also have great team training you can plug into.

The point is, your success (or failure) will be based on your efforts…no one elses. Once you believe and accept this, you’ll have your breakthrough.

With that being said, here are the best resources to find answers and information on your own.

Start at the FAQs inside of your Coach Online Office

1.) Beachbody Coach F.A.Q.s

Inside of your Coach Online Office at the very bottom of the page you will see a link that says FAQ. This is the best place to start when you have a question. Simply type your question into the box and 9 times out of 10 you’ll be able to find an answer to your question.

2.) Facebook Team Group

If you can’t find the answer you are looking for inside of the FAQs, the 2nd best place to ask is our private facebook Team group. Inside of this group there are over 1000 Coaches that will be able to answer your question for you. This team group is a valuable resource and a great place to connect with other Beachbody Coaches.

3.) Coach Relations

If you have a question that you can’t find the answer to, or a question directly related to your Coach account, you can always Coach Relations at 1-800-240-0913. If you have a question about a customer’s order, or your commission, etc, Coach Relations is who you would want to contact.

Their phone line is open 24/7, you have the option to send them an email if it is not urgent, and there is also a “live chat” option.

To contact Coach Relations, look for the “Contact Us” link at the very bottom of the page while inside of your Coach Online Office.

4.) Google/YouTube

Google and YouTube are invaluable resources. Type any question in google and you’re going to get thousands (probably millions) of answers. The problem and challenging part is filtering and finding what’s important and ignoring what’s not.

For me, Google and YouTube have been my best and biggest help for me growing my Beachbody business.

Additionally, never call your sponsor and to ask him/her a question you could of just googled.

*Important sidenote – There is also a lot of bad advice, information, and resources that come back in google searches. Be careful and give thought to who you listen to and take advice from.

5.) Your Sponsor

Lastly, if you can’t find the answer you are looking for, pick up the phone and give your sponsor a call or send them an email (some of the Coaches on our team send me text messages too it’s something short). Here’s the thing, if you’ve gone through the first 4 options and have not been able to find the answer, your sponsor will probably not know the answer either…lol.

6.) Read Books

Books have been a great resource for me and something I give a huge credit to for my success. Make it a habit to read 10 pages a day. Read books on network marketing.

Become Independent & Resourceful

Some people will read this post and think to themselves, “my sponsor doesn’t want to help me”. This is NOT the case at all.

What we’re trying to do is develop independent and resourceful Coaches. I personally love helping the Coaches on our team and spend countless hours on the phone each week talking one-on-one with them.

This isn’t about the Coaches on the team that I personally sponsor. This is for the Coaches that they sponsor, and who those Coaches sponsor, down to infinite levels.

My personal time is limited. The team is too large for me to personally talk with everyone one-on-one.

Take a step back and look at the big picture. When you sponsor a new Coach, they should know where they can find the answer to their questions. (Feel free to share this post with them.)

A thriving team is based on people that are resourceful.

Conversations With Your Sponsor

Again, don’t take this post the wrong way. You upline sponsor is available to help and can be a huge resource to you. Take advantage of their knowledge and experience.

Don’t go to your sponsor with questions you can find in the FAQ or by googling. Learn to be resourceful and find the answers to those questions yourself.

Instead, have conversations with your sponsor on concepts, strategies, goal setting, planning, brainstorming, etc. Talk to you sponsor about, and ask questions about things that can’t be googled or found on YouTube.

Make sure you are doing the 3 Vital Behaviors DAILY:

  1. Invite. Invite. Invite.
  2. Be proof the products work. (working out/drinking Shakeology)
  3. Personal development.

Become a Linchpin!

Via the book Linchpin by Seth Godin:

“Linchpins…these people figure out what to do when there’s no rule book. They delight and challenge their customers and peers. They love their work, pour their best selves into it, and turn each day into a kind of art.”
